Classical Directory

Over the course of 30-plus years in the music industry, Fish Fine Music has established relationships with a wide range of music and arts organisations, big and small. We're incredibly proud to be a part of such a vibrant, welcoming and diverse community, and have always done our utmost to support local organisations, composers and musicians, whether giving independent and unsigned artists a shop in which to sell their recordings, promoting events through our weekly newsletter, or simply putting customers in contact with organisations that match their interests.

It is this final service that we hope to expand and strengthen through the Fish Fine Music Australian Classical Music Directory. Our hope is that by providing a one-stop location for information about all Australian music societies we can strengthen our industry as a whole, and support real, tangible communities of passionate people in an age when relationships are fragmenting and increasingly shifting online.

The groups featured below are of course not an exhaustive list; the majority are based in Sydney, as we are, and many are high-profile, nationally (and internationally) recognised ensembles. Indeed, compiling this initial list further underscored the need for such a directory, as it was only through hours of investigating online that we found as many organisations as we did. Which is why the next part is up to you, our customers, and our community - if you know of (or indeed are a member of) an organisation not listed here, no matter where in the country they are based, please let us know via email at admin@fishfinemusic.com.au.
